You won’t lose your service if you skip a month. As long as your membership is active, your monthly pre-paid service (whether a massage or facial) will stay on your account and roll over for you to use the next month. In other words, if you can’t visit the spa one month, that pre-paid massage or facial credit is banked for future use. This rollover benefit ensures you still get the full value and savings from your membership even if life gets busy and you miss a visit. So, you can relax knowing your paid service will be waiting for you when you have time to enjoy the spa again.
If your service was performed by a registered massage therapist, you will receive your receipt right when the service is received – at the end of your massage appointment. Hand & Stone employs Registered Massage Therapists, so every time you get a massage, you’ll be issued an official RMT receipt that you can use for insurance purposes. In practical terms, as soon as your massage session is completed and you check out, the spa will provide your RMT receipt. This way, you can promptly submit it to your extended health care plan or insurance for reimbursement if applicable, without any hassle or waiting.
Yes, absolutely – you can upgrade or enhance your monthly pre-paid service to another spa service by simply paying the difference in cost. Your membership includes a 50-minute massages, or classic facial each month, but you’re not limited to just that. For example, you might choose to upgrade your massage to a longer session or switch it to a hot stone massage, or apply your facial credit toward a more advanced skin care treatment. Just let us know before you arrive at the spa (or when booking your appointment) that you’d like to make an upgrade, so we can schedule the additional service time as needed. You’ll only be charged the member-rate price for the upgrade portion of the service, which means you still enjoy special discounted pricing. This flexibility allows you to customize your spa experience each month while maximizing the value of your membership.

Yes! Hand & Stone offers the flexibility to transfer your unused prepaid massage or facial to friends or family members. You can transfer up to three service credits within a 12-month period for a small fee.
