As an Esthetician at Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa, you will be among the most skilled and trained skin therapists in the world, providing each client with exceptional service and results.
You are an expert at resolving skin care concerns and will customize each facial to your client’s individual needs. You will prescribe our professional skincare products and promote our exclusive lifestyle membership program. We offer state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, an effective computerized booking system, uniforms, linens, and professional products — plus professional personal development courses (tuition is free).
Responsibilities
- Greet all clients with a warm, generous, and inviting manner
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service
- Explain the treatment to the client before beginning service
- Promote the health and wellness benefits of facials
- Recommend product purchases, facial frequency, and pull products for clients to buy
- Learn, understand, and promote all spa services and product lines
- Maintain a professional work environment and appearance
- Communicate client updates to the Spa Associate or Spa Manager to keep records current
Qualifications

Be the first face and voice of Hand & Stone
Spa Associates are the first impression for our clients — in person and on the phone. You’ll work independently and as part of a professional team. Sales, promotion, and client interaction come naturally to you as you deliver the highest level of customer service.
Spa Associate Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome clients upon arrival and on the telephone
- Check clients in through the booking system
- Multi-task between phones, booking appointments, and selling memberships, gift cards, and upgrades
- Promote the health and wellness benefits of massage and skin care
- Follow proper filing procedures and file maintenance
- Maintain a professional and clean work environment and appearance
- Support the team with various other duties as needed

Hand & Stone Spa Managers lead and motivate a team of RMTs, Estheticians, and Spa Associates to provide outstanding client services and reach (or exceed) sales goals.
Requirements (Spa Manager)
- Lead, coach, train, and set expectations for a team of spa professionals
- Balance coaching with discipline when needed
- Deliver outstanding client experiences in spa services and retail operations
- Coach the team to sell services and products to reach or exceed financial goals
- Train and manage cost-control best practices
- Manage administrative tasks (payroll, scheduling, inventory, reporting)
Qualifications (Spa Manager)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in spa or hospitality management
- Excellent knowledge of spa services and retail operations
- Ability to meet or exceed sales goals
- Ability to meet or exceed cost of goods sold goals
- Strong desire to provide, train, and deliver outstanding customer service
- Deep understanding of spa services and product lines with strong selling ability
