Facial enhancements
Spa enhancements are additions to your Facial service that are designed to enhance your experience with scent, texture and temperature. They are performed by our Certified Estheticians. Choose from any of our add-ons below.
Gently wash your face with a mild cleanser the night before and the morning of your facial to remove makeup, dirt, and oil. This ensures your esthetician can work with a clean canvas.
Avoid UV Exposure & Sunlight
Minimize direct sun exposure and avoid tanning beds at least a week before your appointment, as sunburned or overly tanned skin can be more sensitive during treatment.
Skip At-Home Exfoliation
Refrain from using exfoliating products, such as scrubs or chemical peels, for a few days prior to your facial to prevent over-sensitizing your skin.
Avoid Hair Removal Treatments
Do not wax, shave, or undergo laser hair removal on your face for at least 48 hours before your facial, as these treatments can cause sensitivity, irritation, or compromise the skin’s barrier, making it more prone to redness and discomfort during your facial.
Stay Hydrated
Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment to keep your skin hydrated and plump, enhancing the effectiveness of the facial.
Limit Caffeine Intake
Reduce or avoid caffeine consumption on the day of your facial, as it can increase skin sensitivity and make relaxation more difficult.
Communicate with Your Esthetician
Inform your esthetician about any skin concerns, allergies, medications, or recent treatments to ensure the facial is tailored to your needs.
Stay Hydrated
Continue to drink ample water post-facial to help flush out toxins and maintain skin hydration.
Avoid Heavy Makeup
Refrain from applying makeup for at least 24 hours to allow your skin to breathe and absorb the benefits of the facial.
Protect Your Skin from the Sun
Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 daily, as your skin may be more sensitive to UV rays after treatment.
Skip Strenuous Activities
Avoid intense physical activities that cause excessive sweating for at least 24 hours, as sweat can irritate freshly treated skin.
Avoid Heat Exposure
Steer clear of saunas, steam rooms, and hot showers for at least 48 hours to prevent irritation and broken capillaries.
Be Gentle with Your Skin
Use a mild, hydrating cleanser and avoid harsh exfoliants or active ingredients like retinol and AHAs for several days post-facial.
Resist Touching or Picking
Keep your hands off your face to prevent introducing bacteria and causing irritation or scarring.
Follow Esthetician’s Recommendations
Adhere to any personalized aftercare instructions provided by your esthetician to maintain and enhance the results of your facial.

"I booked a facial with Carletta and it was amazing. Not only does my skin look great and the redness is reduced, but she is also such a fun person to talk to. I will definitely be going back and booking her from now on!
"
"Treated myself to a facial during the holidays with Tatreeanna and had a very relaxing facial! My skin is glowing and I loved being introduced to new products in the Dermalogica line which I have used for years. The staff were really friendly, fun and helpful and the spa is clean, and quiet. Exactly what I expect from a spa! Can't wait to return!"
"Love this Hand and Stone location!
Always so clean and the front desk staff is so friendly.
I always book with Robin for my facials and she has truly changed my skin over the time I’ve been seeing her! Idk why I haven’t written a review sooner!
If you are looking for someone who knows their stuff and has the hands of an angel.. Robin is your girl!💕
I also go to Robin for my waxing and she makes it quick and painless!"
